What we believe

We believe that a wedding is one of life’s great moments. A time when a couple affirms their love and commitment to each other, surrounded by their family and friends who are there to witness the vows and to support the couple with their prayers and support. To get married in a church is also to acknowledge God’s role in bringing you together and to ask God for his continued blessing in the years ahead of you.

Wedding preparation

We take our role in helping you towards marriage very seriously. You will be invited to meet with a member of the clergy team, usually during a weekday evening, and one preparation day with other couples. This will be followed by an individual meeting with the minister officiating at your wedding.

We do encourage you to come and join us for our Sunday worship. In this way, we get to know each other better and we can share in prayer as you prepare for your future life together. Details of all our Sunday services can be found on this website.
