Who are we?
We are the Anglican parish church here in
Countesthorpe, Leicestershire.
But St Andrew’s is much more than a church building – we are a community of people who want to celebrate God’s love revealed to us in his Son Jesus Christ and who want to grow in and be transformed by that love. We care deeply about God, about each other and the community to which we belong.
St Andrews Church is a dynamic church that meets you right where you are. We are committed to a compelling and challenging presentation of God’s truth. Here you will find information about services and times, directions, what’s happening for children and young people and more.
Whether you are just curious about church and God or you are a dedicated follower of Christ,
you are welcome here.

TRANQUILLITY
The St Andrew’s Church Prayer
God of Mission, you alone bring growth to your church.
Send your Holy Spirit to help us be a people who love you and each other.
Who worship together, pray together, learn together, serve together, cry together, play together and laugh together.
Set us on fire with the gospel of your son, Jesus Christ, and give us a desire to share his story with everyone.
May we be seed-throwers and fire-starters, hope-bringers and grace-givers.
Send us out to seek the lost, empower the poor, strengthen the weak and embrace the outcast.
And may we see Countesthorpe changed by the love you have given us to share.
Amen.
